World ocean day 

The world ocean day is an international day that takes place annually on 8th June. It is a celebration and an opportunity for us to educate ourselves on the further beauty of the world's ocean. 
From the temperatures in Arctic to Indian oceans and the diversity across the globe, so much is yet to be discovered and protected. Respect for our shared waters is a key point that's pushed everyday but especially on the 8th June.  
This day creates awareness for plastics macro and micro that pollute and the species that are affected most by them.
